Ready, Set, GO!

I’m an avid reader of blogs. Blog Love spreads like herpes. Find one creator that you like, read her blog and the blogs she likes.
Before long you’ve moved on to follow leads from those secondary weblogs, and it spreads, eating up all your dusting time. Laundry’s neglected, beds are unmade, hair unwashed.
Several of my favorite bloggers posted their New Year’s resolutions for this year. “Ballsy,” I thought, but I soon became plagued by the notion of shooting for certain goals m’self. This needs doing: I would like to take more medication, use more products on my hair, my skin, and in my home. When I’m running errands I will be comfortable, and I’m gonna let the car idle with the heat/AC running. I want to journal. I should have been doing it a long while ago, and I’m going to start a blog o’ my own. I want to wear more eyeliner and way more shadow, keep my ‘stache bleached and my roots dark. I will floss. I will organize my ideas file. I’ll glean a curbside treasure and make it sparkle. I’ll go to a rummage sale. I will continue with home improvement until everything’s improved. I’ll do some kind of leg work this summer and work deltoids harder than biceps and lats. I will not go back to eating like there’s no tomorrow. I’ll learn a new art/craft. I'll learn how to use the PS3 to play DVDs. I’ll learn how to slap the crap out of a Sackboy on Little Big Planet. I’ll go to at least one movie per month at the theater. I’ll treat my old man like the stud that he is, and my little girls as though they’ve married and moved outta the house. I’ll man-UP the dog. I will meet a hobo and ask him his story (PROPS Greenlees). I’ll send letters to my aunties ‘splaining why we can’t be fam anymore (Mom’s dead,) and live on facebook because it’s easier than having real friends.Wish me LUCK!
